Lake Clark NP, AK Bears & Puffins 2011

In late July, we returned to Silver Salmon Creek Lodge in Lake Clark NP, AK to photograph brown bears. We also visited a puffin island near SSCL and had outstanding weather for a great day photographing the colorful birds. In fact, we had several days of fantastic weather at the beginning of the workshop, giving way to some rain the last couple days. I am still convinced that there is no place better to photgraph the brown coastal grizzly bears.
