After a short time at home between workshops, I traveled to Florida looking for warm weather and sunshine. It was an unseasonbly cold even in south Florida, but we still found plenty of photo subjects. For the second workshop in a row, we found an eagle nest, this time with two adults and young.
We also found the Florida wading birds in great numbers starting with the Great Blue Herons.
We also found nesting Great Egrets.
Other species were everwhere as well.
And the gators were very plentiful too.
Florida also has some wonderful sunsets.
I also did some black and white conversion and some infrared work.
South Florida is always rich in birds and gators and this year was no exception. The cold weather did not seem to effect the numbers of wildife at all.
