We did our first workshop in Hawaii on the island of Kauai in March. Author and location guide Steve Alterman made sure we photographed all the best spots. We had a variety of weather and cloud conditions making some unique possibilties. Our only complaint was a lack of rainbows - we only saw a few- but that means it was not raining much. We started photographing the beaches and the terrain around them in many differents light.
We also found many interesting vista opportunities away from the coast.
The plant life was also a highlight.
We also found some wildlife around the island.
I also did some infrared images.
Kauai was a great location and I look forward to returning there soon.
